With the recent focus on sexual harassment in the workplace, we all need to remember that it’s not just men harassing women. Men can sexually harass other men. And, women can sexually harass men or other women. It’s the conduct that matters, not the gender of the harasser or the victim.
Employers need effective discrimination and harassment policies, strategies to educate employees and safe, non-threatening processes for reporting misconduct. With those three things in place, all employees can perform at their highest potential.
